Responsible Consumption and Production: research & practice
This is a necessary and living book . Not because it has QR Codes and Links (and this makes it “alive”, taking the reader beyond the texts), but because it addresses a topic that makes one think about the importance of research connected to action to ensure the sustainability of life.
Based on studies linked to practice, the authors address topics that are part of the reader's daily life, above all spreading the seed of reflection :
Where do the jeans we wear come from? Where do orange peels go? Do we go to the agroecological farmers’ market at the University? How much food is left on your plate? “Green recovery” in the city. What impact does this have on the citizenship process? Why are women more likely to attend agroecological markets?
This work can be a portal of ideas for young people and adults to engage in sustainability and challenge themselves to promote actions in their group. Above all, it is for those who believe that creative alternatives, adopted by collectives, can transform and regenerate the environment in which we live.
Care in the self-other-environment dimension moves the mill of sustainability and guarantees life on the Planet.
Embark on this idea and together we will make a difference !
